Description
This real goldfish in resin is meticulously placed and positioned within a tiny faux aquarium. It has sand, shells, and plants that adorn the bottom, creating an entire aquatic world within this small solid cube. This adorable goldfish diorama display makes for a great unique gift. It’s absolutely perfect for a desktop or window display.
This solid lucite display is made with a real goldfish (Carassius auratus) These were captive raised fish that just didn’t make it and normally would have just been thrown away. This way they can be studied and enjoyed even after death.
As with all real fish in resin, size, color and positioning can slightly vary. We will take the time to pick you the best specimen/display. Resin cube measures approx. 2 inches square.

I knew the item was going to be small (it's a little fish) and was nervous it would blend into my shelves, but it's actually a perfect little friend in a perfect little scene and it brings me so much joy. The fish is well posed/positioned and really pops. Plus there's enough details to keep it from feeling barren (what has initially drawn me to the piece). If I'm being nitpicky, the blue "water" doesn't quite come up to the sandy stage at one corner, but it doesn't really detract from the display. The item exceeded my expectations and made the fight I had to have with the post office to get it well worth it (the seller shipped it very quickly my local post is just bad).
