Description
This dung beetle (Catharsius molossus) is one of the most widespread coprophagous species found in the tropical Asian regions. Males can reach length of almost two inches and it quite hairy on the ventral side. The more well know scarabs of ancient Egypt are a type of dung beetle too.
Lucite block measures approx. 2 3/4 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches wide.
As with all Insects in Lucite, color, size and positioning can vary slightly. We guarantee a high quality specimen.
