This is the Sawtooth Jeweled Stag Beetle. Found in New Guinea their scientific name is Lamprima adolphinae. These stunning beetles come in a variety of iridescent colors. The most common shade is green, but they can also be found in various hues blue.

Lucite block measures approximately 2 3/4 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches wide.
