One of the largest butterflies we have available is this Black Alpine Swallowtail (Papilio maackii) it is a butterfly of the family Papilionidae. It’s habitats include Central Asia, Japan, China and South Korea. They are diurnal and widely held to be one of the most beautiful butterflies in Japan.

Encased in a durable resin, it’s size and dark coloration make a stunning addition to any entomology or butterfly collection.

As with all real butterflies in resin, size, coloration and positioning can vary slightly. Lucite block measures approx. 5 1/4 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide.
