DISCOUNT -Large Bat in Resin, Pipistrellus pipistrellus

These are all great specimens. The reason for the discount is that there may be a small scuff on the back, or may have slight imperfections. (see photo for example) If the imperfections are to large we simply won’t sell it.

This specimen in resin is the Pipistrelle Bat. This bat can be found all over the world. Ranging from Asia, North Africa, India and the British isles. Identifying marks is that it has a very short muzzle, typically reddish brown fur, and a wing span of about 7 – 9 3/4 inches.

Being a relatively larger piece, with it’s wings spread wide, this definitely an eye-catching display. In the wild it is difficult to get a good look at these nocturnal creatures. Now, every tiny detail, from all angles, can be studied up close.

As with all bat specimens in resin, size shape and positioning can vary slightly. Lucite block measures approx. 7 3/4 inches wide by 3 3/8 inches tall.
