Chinese Golden Scorpion in Resin, Mesobuthus martensii

This real scorpion in resin is Mesobuthus martensii, its common name is the Chinese Scorpion, Golden Scorpion, or the Manchurian scorpion. It can be found in China, Mongolia or Japan in warm dry areas with little plant life. It has a lifespan of about 4-6 years. The venom in its tail has been used in Chinese medicine for many years to treat various medical issues, such as pain, paralysis, and epilepsy.
