This large, real spider has been meticulously positioned within a solid crystal clear resin dome. This is one big Tarantula! It is also known as the Chinese Bird Spider (ornithoctonus huwena.) It was given this name because it is big enough to catch and kill a small bird, and has been seen doing so.
