This is a Chinese Mantis, it’s scientific name is Tenodera sinensis. This is a slender, brownish green praying mantis and is considered very long for the mantis family.

This real Praying Mantis in resin is an excellent teaching tool. Mantis are absolutely amazing with their triangular heads, bulging eyes and extremely flexible necks. You can see every detail of this interesting insect through the crystal clear resin.

As with all natural specimens, size, coloration and positioning can vary slightly. Lucite block measures approx. 4 1/4 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide.
