Description

This is a Giant Forest Scorpion in resin. Scientifically named Heterometrus liangi. It is commonly found in the tropical and subtropical regions of southeastern Asia including Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand and India. This species of large scorpion is always black but can have slight tints of different color. It’s venom is non-lethal to humans.

This pristine specimen is encased in clear lucite where every little detail is viewable from all angles. You can safely examine the fine point of it’s venomous stinger.

As with all natural specimens, size, coloration and positioning can vary slightly. Lucite block measures approx. 4 1/4 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide.

Its big, its creepy, and its cool as hell. Glad I bought it, because we dont see these where I live. So its cool to actually have one in my hands, and it makes a nice conversation piece. Oh, did I mention it glows under UV light? Because it does. And it makes it SO much cooler.

Awesome specimen

Came in a large matchbox style box thats perfect for altering. The lucite is crystal clear, all the details are impeccable. Ordered this and another lucite encased specimen and they got here so fast I thought it must have been something else I ordered days earlier. Great website!
