Description

The Red Eared Slider (Trachemys scripta) is a subspecies of turtles known as Pond Sliders. They are one of the most popular pets around the world. Due to pet release they have become one of the worlds top 100 most invasive species.

This real turtle in resin is a welcome addition to any teaching and scientific collection. The crystal clear resin make every detail viewable from all angles. Lucite block measures approx. 1 5/8 wide by 1 3/4 tall.

As with all real specimens in resin, size, position and coloration can vary slightly.

Buyer beware! Nothing wrong with the turtle, just soo small can't really see it. I actually keep a magnifying glass next to it and the others ones I purchased. Been wanting to return it just so busy haven't gotten around to it. Bottom line, great gift to a young child interested in creatures. I didn't think this through on this purchase. My mistake.
