This large butterfly in resin is a Spangle (Papilio protenor) is part of the swallowtail family and can be found in India and Southern China. This species of butterfly tend to occupy only a limited range of the host plant, which is often citrus.

This large stunning specimen is definitely an eye catcher and a welcomed addition to any butterfly collection. The crystal clear lucite makes it an excellent entomology teaching aid.
