Description
This beautiful yet simple display is of a real starfish in resin. This type of starfish is commonly called the Knobby Starfish or Chocolate Chip Sea Star, its scientific name is Protoreaster nodosus. It is a species of sea star which can be found in the warm, shallow waters of the western Pacific ocean. Occasionally you’ll see them in fish tanks or dried and sold as souvenirs.
This is a great piece to add to your collection, a welcome addition to any ocean decor, or to be used as a teaching aid. The perfectly clear resin makes it easy to see even the smallest of details from all angles.
Acrylic block measures approximately 3 inches square. Add a nice finishing touch to your preserved starfish with an optional display stand. Made of clear acrylic, this stand really enhances the piece, giving it a nice viewing angle.
As with all specimens in acrylic, size shape and coloration can vary, we guarantee a quality specimen.
