Description
The Asian Giant Hornet (Vespa mandarinia) is classified as the worlds largest hornet. Originally from Asia, they have been accidently introduced to North America. They are considered a harmful, invasive species since they kill other insects and wasps. This species of wasp does not hunt humans but their venom is potent enough when it could kill a person, hence the name Murder Hornet.
This is an excellent addition to any collection and wonderful conversation piece. Murder Hornets are omnivores and can grow up to two inches in length. You can safely inspect every detail, including it’s huge stinger, up close through the clear resin.
As with all insects in resin color, shape and positioning can vary. This species in particular can have a wide range from relatively dark to more vibrant in color. We will do our best to pick the best one available, we guarantee you’ll receive a quality specimen. The product you receive may be different than the one shown.
Resin block measures approx. 2 3/4 tall by inches by 1 1/2 inches wide.
The color and specimen quality are far superior in the picture. Upon arrival I was a bit disappointed in the size, color and quality of the hornet. No yellow color.
