Dorcus titanus is a beetle of the family Lucanidae. Males measure between 1.25–4.25 inches in length. It has somewhat of a flat body, solid black in color. Male’s antler-like jaws have small teeth along inner edge and the head can reaches nearly the length of its prothorax and abdomen combined.

This stag beetle in resin is viewable from all sides, through the crystal clear lucite, making it an excellent scientific teaching specimen or the perfect addition to any entomology collection.

As with all real beetles in resin, size, coloration and positioning can vary slightly. Lucite block measures approx. 2 3/4 inches tall by 1 5/8 inches wide.
