The Common Brimstone (Gonepteryx Rhamni) is a butterfly of the family Pieridae. It lives throughout the Hamalayas, Eurasia, North Africa and across Europe. The brimstone relies on two species of buckthorn plants as host plants for its larvae. These plants are commonly found in wetlands.
This delicate, soft yellow butterfly is set in a solid block of lucite, making it a beautiful addition to any decor or entomology collection.
Lucite block measures approximately 3 inches square. Add a nice finishing touch to your preserved butterfly with an optional display stand. Made of clear acrylic, this stand really enhances the piece, giving it a nice viewing angle.
As with all real butterflies in resin, size, coloration and positioning can vary slightly.
Very pleased with the quality
Saving this for a friends birthday! She will love it!
I've previously purchased butterflies in resin from this particular vendor, and I have not been disappointed. Recently, I ordered two more butterflies, and they're BEAUTIFUL! They're great additions to my collection because curious kids (and adults) can see the insects from both side, and learn about them. Thank you, again!!
This item was a bit smaller than I expected, but that was on me since I didnt pay attention to the dimensions listed. Otherwise this was better quality than I expected and looked so nice! I gave it as a Christmas gift and they loved it. So happy with this item!
This yellow butterfly is just beautiful! It will be well loved for sure!
