Description
This large, real spider has been meticulously positioned within a solid crystal clear resin dome. This is one big Tarantula! It is also known as the Chinese Bird Spider (ornithoctonus huwena.) It was given this name because it is big enough to catch and kill a small bird, and has been seen doing so.
Items in this style are often referred to as a paperweight. This specimen is definitely an attention-getter. It’ll make a great addition to any desert style decor or oddities collection.
Dome measures approx. 3 1/2 inches wide. Add a nice finishing touch to your preserved spider with an optional display stand. Made of clear acrylic, this stand really enhances the piece, giving it a nice viewing angle.

I am terrified of spiders and if I hadn't found this shop I might have to get my son a live one. Ha ha. This is a beautiful piece and I will definitely be making other purchases from this shop. I'll update with pics after we settle down after Christmas.

I bought this as a gag gift for my best friend for Christmas. I know hell love it but hes terrified of spiders so I cant wait to see his reaction to this. Its very well made and very beautiful so I know hell love it despite it being a spider.
