28.00 – 30.50
Description
The Yellow Butterfly (Catopsilia pomona) is known as the Common Emigrant or Lemon Emigrant. They are considered medium sized and can be found in parts of Australia and throughout Asia. The females have a yellow coloration and the males are green, some early authors even considered them two distinct different species.
This real butterfly in acrylic resin is masterfully preserved. It’s yellow coloration accentuated by the dark brown markings on its wingtips makes it a wonderful addition to any entomological or Lepidopterological collection. Add a nice finishing touch to your preserved butterfly with an optional display stand. Made of clear acrylic, this stand really enhances the piece, giving it a nice viewing angle.
As with all real butterflies in resin, size, coloration and positioning can vary slightly. Lucite block measures approximately 3 inches square.
