Description
This little insect is quite a beautiful and interesting specimen. It is (Lycorma delicatula) commonly known as the Spotted Lanternfly. It is native to China but has made it’s way to the U.S. It was first spotted in Pennsylvania in 2014 and is considered an invasive species.
This insect in resin is embedded in a flawless, crystal clear resin block with it’s wings gently spread to display it’s beautiful colors and patterns. A welcome little addition to any entomology collection.
As with all specimens in resin, shape, positioning, and coloration can vary slightly. Lucite block measures approx. 1 1/2 inches square. Your purchase will come boxed with a cute little organza bag.
I have someone who enjoys the insects in resin, and the lantern fly went great with an ID card that I had for the lantern fly
Love it! The specimen is super beautiful and in amazing condition!
Looks very beautiful next to my plants. Would love some larger ones.

I Read an article on how invasive these Lantern Flies are. I got it as a reminder. Very pleased with my purchase
