The tailed jay (Graphium Agamemnon) is a tropical butterfly with black and green markings which belongs to the swallowtail family. This butterfly sometimes called the green-spotted triangle, or tailed green jay. It is a quite common species native to Nepal, India, Southeast Asia and Australia.
They are primarily found close to the woods edge where there is heavy rainfall, the tailed jay is also regularly seen in gardens and urban areas due to the plant it eats, Polyalthia longifolia, which is widely used as an ornamental tree.
Add a nice finishing touch to your preserved butterfly with an optional display stand. Made of clear acrylic, this stand really enhances the piece, giving it a nice viewing angle.
This butterfly specimen is encased in a solid block of crystal clear lucite, making it viewable from all angles. This piece is an excellent educational display or perfect for any collector.
As with all real butterflies in resin, size, coloration and positioning can vary slightly. Lucite block measures approx. 3 inches square.
Shipping was quick and I am so very pleased with the quality. Will certainly be ordering more!

I've previously purchased butterflies in resin from this particular vendor, and I have not been disappointed. Recently, I ordered two more butterflies, and they're BEAUTIFUL! They're great additions to my collection because curious kids (and adults) can see the insects from both side, and learn about them. Thank you, again!!
